This imposing tower is the last line of defense for Brazendell, should the rest of the town ever be overrun by attackers. It sits atop the tallest hill in the vicinity, protected by double walls and a drawbridge.
When the town isn’t under siege, access to the Guardhouse is mostly unrestricted. Flint, the captain of the guard, holds council on the ground floor. His sleeping quarters are on the second floor, along with four members of the town guard, rotated each fortnight with soldiers stationed in the Barracks.
At least one of the four soldiers patrols the roof of the tower at all times, alert to the first signs of trouble beyond the walls.
